This policy explains what personal information The Maddingale Post collects, why we collect it, and how it is used. We collect only what we need to send your letters and to answer your messages.

Who we are

The Maddingale Post is a fantasy mail club based in Bangalore, India. Our address is 304, PN Enclave, 4th Floor, Kadugodi, Bangalore – 560067, India. You can reach us at maddingalepost@gmail.com.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the website, we may collect:

  • your name, email address and phone number;
  • your delivery address, when you place an order or join the Mail Club;
  • details of your orders and subscriptions;
  • messages you send us through the Write to Us form or by email;
  • basic technical information your browser sends when you visit the website, such as your IP address and browser type.

Orders and payments

We use your order details to process, pack and deliver your letters, and to contact you about your order.

Payments are handled by Razorpay. For some international payments, Razorpay may also offer PayPal. When you join the Mail Club, your details, including your delivery address, are collected on Razorpay’s subscription form, and your monthly payments are handled by Razorpay. We don’t see or store your full card details on this website.

Messages and contact

When you write to us, we use your name, email address and message to reply to you.

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes, including fulfilling orders, providing support, maintaining business records and meeting legal obligations.

Cookies

The website uses a small number of cookies and similar browser storage. They remember your chosen delivery region (India or International) and the contents of your Post Bag, and keep checkout working. Razorpay’s payment window may also use its own cookies while you pay. We don’t currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, we’ll update this page.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. The Post Bag and checkout may not work without them.

Third-party services

To run the shop and deliver your letters, we share only the information needed for each task with these services:

  • Hostinger: website hosting
  • Razorpay (and PayPal, where used through Razorpay): payments and Mail Club billing
  • Shiprocket and its courier partners: delivering your parcels (your name, address and phone number)
  • Google: our email account, and the web fonts used on the website (your browser requests these directly from Google)

Each of these services handles information under its own privacy policy.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we’re able to. For example, we may need to keep order records for business or legal reasons. Please write to us at the address below, and we’ll respond as soon as we can.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.
